Flan cake – Vietnamese street food

Flan is tender sweet custard dessert with a layer of soft caramel on its top. Originated in Western countries, the cake has become popular around the world. The Frend has brought Flan cake to Vietnam. It is one of the most favorite street food in Vietnam. Main ingredients to make the cake are egg, fresh milk/condensed milk/powdered milk, sugar. Recipes are various, Vietnamese cooks also use wheat flour, coconut milk, shredded coconut meat, cream, juice, vanilla, fruits.
