Itinerary of 2 Day Mekong Delta Tour Cai Thia – Homestay – Phuoc Hau

DAY 1: CÁI THIA – LUNCH ON BOAT – AN BINH ISLAND – HOMESTAY

The program will begin at CaiThia of Cai Be District of Tien Giang Province.

Pass by Cai Thia Church, My Luong Communal House. We will take a boat to see how to make rice paper at the local house. We will have one more option to see more about the Mekong Delta if we will take a biking trip in one hour to explore the famous village of Hoa Loc mango on the small beautiful roads. It will be so interesting to see orchards, traditional houses, and schools in Mekong Delta. We will come to a local and peaceful home, and we will be able to create some cakes (local donuts) and taste them with hot tea. After biking, we will come back Cai Thia Village. We will be on our boat and enjoy the best lunch on the boat when the boat will be towards An Binh Island.

We will check in Ut Trinh Homestay, and make friends with the local family. We will relax with a fresh shower or some cold drinks. We will enjoy gook local dishes with the owners. We will enjoy dinner and have a cup of tea or rice wine. Overnight in a private room of a local house.

DAY 2: HOMESTAY – PHUOC HAU VEGE FARMS – VINH LONG

The cock will wake you up for a discovering day. We will enjoy breakfast and take a boat trip along the Mekong River seeing many floating cages for farming fish. Upon Arrival Phuoc Hau Village of Long Ho District, Vinh Long Province, after biking for about 30 minutes, we will discover the local life, and rice fields… even we will be able to learn how to farm green vegetables or rice from the local farmer’s experiences. We will ride bicycles back to our boat. We will stop to visit Vinh Long Market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take photos of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, and vegetables…

Finish the trip in Vinh Long City at about 11:00.
