Itinerary of 2 Days 1 Night Sapa Tour (Hotel in City)
Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Cat Village (L, D)
At 6:30 – 7:00 AM, we will meet at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (a free pick-up is provided). You will pay an extra fee if you request to be picked up at your hotel outside Hanoi Old Quarter. On the way from Hanoi to Sapa, you will have time to relax, enjoy the beautiful sights, and see local people going out to work.
At 9:30 AM, we will arrive at the first rest stop on the highway to Lao Cai City.
At 11:00 AM, we will arrive at the second rest stop in Lao Cai City.
At 1:00 PM, we will arrive in Sapa Town and you will be surprised with the colorful traditional costumes of ethnic people. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese dishes in Sapa. You will also make check-in procedures, enjoy a welcome drink, and be told about the itinerary briefing.
At 2:30 PM, you will trek for about 2.5 km to explore Cat Cat Village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Located near the bottom of a deep valley at Fansipan Peak’s foot, Cat Cat has lots of great things to do: learn more about the local life, a wonderful waterfall, Hydraulic Power Station built by French, gardens, rice fields, houses,…
At 5:00 PM, we will leave Cat Cat and head to Sapa Town where you will served a delicious dinner in a cozy atmosphere.
You will stay overnight in Sapa Town.
Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hanoi (B, L)
At 7:00 AM, you will have breakfast at the hotel, then check out the room. Do not forget to prepare a light pack for trekking because the luggage will be kept at the hotel.
At 8:30 AM, we will start the journey to Y Linh Ho from which we trek along Muong Hoa Stream and through the beautiful rice terraces. We will reach Lao Chai – a Black Hmong village to learn more about the local life and see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Next, we will go to Ta Van – the village of Dzay ethnic people. You will also see the nice and unique Ta Van Bridge. The trekking distance is about 9 km and we will spend about 3.5 hours trekking.
At 11:00 AM, you will hop on the bus and be driven back to Sapa Town where they will serve you a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.
At 1:30 PM, you will have time to take a bath in the public bathroom of the hotel if you would like to do that. Then you will be free to relax until 3:30 PM.
At 3:30 PM, you will hop on the bus to get ready for the transfer from Sapa to Hanoi.
At 9:15 PM, you will arrive at your hotel in Hanoi.
