Day 1 – Airport – Hanoi City

On your first day in Vietnam, you will arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and we will pick you up by a private car. All the luggage will be placed at the hotel and you will join a Hanoi City Tour full day. If you arrive at the city one day before, you will have time to take a rest. If you are hungry after the flight, we will take you to a local restaurant to have breakfast.

Next, we will start the exciting journey in the multicultural and historical Hanoi Capital. We will visit the following must-see tourist attractions:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (1975): The beautiful building, green and magnificent square make the Ho Chi Minh Complex become one of the most relaxing visiting places in Hanoi. The mausoleum serves as the resting place of President Ho Chi Minh – the heroic Vietnamese revolutionary leader. The building was built in the Ba Dinh Square where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the independent Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

You will have breakfast at your hotel.

At 8:00, you will be picked up at your hotel and enjoy the drive from the center of Hanoi City to Ha Long City in Quang Ninh Province. You will see busy residential areas, fruit gardens, rice fields, tranquil villages, local markets, people on motorbikes, bicycles, and many other interesting things.

Upon your arrival at the vibrant, green, dynamic, and heritage city of Halong, you will open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. You will be dropped of the the port where you board on a lovely cruise ship. The journey of exploring Halong Bay will be started and you will go away and away from the city center. Gliding over still water, the cruise ship weaves through limestones in different shapes and sizes. The awe-inspiring Halong Bay, which consists of 1,600 limestone monolithic islands approximately topped with thick jungle vegetation, is one of the 7 New Wonders of Nature. Day 3 – Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai

At 6:30 – 7:00, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Sa Pa which is 320 km. Thanks to the Highway 5 connecting Hanoi and Lao Cai, the travel time and distance are shortened. It takes 5 – 7 hours to drive from your hotel to Sapa Town.

At 12:30, you will enjoy a lunch with specialty food of Sa Pa, then check in your hotel or homestay.

In the afternoon, you will trek for 4 hours to Lao Chai – Ta Van village and Giang Ta Chai village. You will spend your time exploring the tranquil and unique areas, learn more about the unique life of local ethnic minorities, and enjoy the fascinating natural scenery, especially the terraced rice fields. At 9:00, we will explore Cat Cat – Shin Chai Village of H’mong ethnic people. On the way, you will admire the magnificent landscapes. The hydro-power station built by the French with the giant water wheels are impressive. You will walk on roads lined with fruit and vegetable gardens, rural houses, rice and corn fields, farms, places to learn more about the culture, traditional crafts including weaving, carving silver, handing forged agricultural tools. The romantic waterfall is the highlight of Cat Cat Village. You will have a chance to take amazing photos and buy many unique souvenirs which are made by local people.

You will go to a restaurant to have lunch and spend your time walking and going shopping.

Day 5 – Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Mua Cave – Tam Coc

At 7:30, you will be picked up at your hotel after having breakfast. You will be transferred from Hanoi to Ninh Binh Province, it takes about 2 hours to reach Hoa Lu from the center of Hanoi.

Upon your arrival at Hoa Lu – Vietnam’s ancient capital from 968 to 1010. It will be a great chance to walk around the area, learn more about the architectures of the Temple of King Dinh and King Le, Vietnam’s history, stories and facts relating to Dinh, Ly, Le Dynasties.

You will also spend about 45 minute cycling on the roads lined with tranquil villages, rice fields, gardens, mountains, forests, and discovering the local lifestyle.

At 12:00, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with Ninh Binh specialties at a special restaurant.

At 13:00, you will leave the restaurant for Tam Coc which is known as “Halong Bay on the land” thanks to the flat and emerald green waters and rock formations rising from the waters. At 15:30, we will drive to Hang Mua (Dance Cave) which is known as Vietnamese “Great Wall”. You will climb 500 steps to reach the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain where you will have an fascinating view of Ninh Binh City and Tam Coc.

At 16:00, you will get on the car to go to a homestay/hotel/bungalow.

Day 6 – Bai Dinh – Trang An (Ninh Binh)

You will have breakfast at your hotel and enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful landscape.

At 8:00, you will be picked up and transferred to Bai Dinh Pagoda – one of the biggest pagoda complexes not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia. Hopping off the car, you will hop on an electric car and be transferred to the gate of the pagoda. You will walk thousands of steps from the foot to the top of Dinh Mountain which is surrounded by rivers and valleys, limestone karsts and forests. The complex boats many magnificent massive architectural works which are inspired by Vietnamese traditional and pagoda architectures. It takes a full day to explore the complex, visit all pagodas and see beautiful statues. However, we will visit some highlights as follows:

  • 500 stone statues of Arhats on the way up
  • 85-ton and 9.57-meter copper Kyan Yin statue with impressive thousands of arms and eyes

Day 7 – Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi

You will enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Ninh Binh.

At 8:00 – 8:30, you will be picked up and transferred to the 22,408 ha Cuc Phuong National Park, which was established in July 1962 and has a population of abundant flora and fauna.

At 9:30, you will arrive at the gate of Cuc Phuong National Park, then visit Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. You will see how they rehabilitate, breed, research, and conserve endangered primates including gray-shanked douc.

At 12:00, we will have lunch at a restaurant, local dishes are worth trying.

After lunch, we will continue explore the national park. There will be a short trek into the forests for sightseeing, learning more about the flora and fauna. Old and big trees are the highlights of the adventure.

At 16:30, you will hop on the car and be transferred back to Hanoi.

At 18:30 – 19:00: You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi City.

Day 7 – Hanoi – Quang Binh, Paradise and Phong Nha Caves

In the morning, you will be transferred to Noi Bai Airport after having breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi.

You will fly from Hanoi to Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province to visit the two famous caves which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon your arrival at Dong Hoi Airport, you will be transferred to Paradise Cave with a total length of 31.4 km – the longest dry cave in Asia. The amazing, magical, and gorgeous stalactites and stalagmites are worth admiring.

At noon, you will enjoy a lunch with flavorful Quang Binh local dishes.

In the afternoon, you will visit the 7,729-meter and almost 3 million year old Phong Nha Cave. It offers spectacular phenomena, including a large number of extraordinary caves and underground rivers. You will be on a boat ride along the romantic and mysterious Son River lined with mountains and forests from the port to the wet Phong Nha Cave. Being in the cave, you will admire the beauty of one of the most outstanding limestone karst ecosystems in the world.

Day 8 – Quang Binh – Hue

  • Imperial City of Hue: The complex was constructed in 1805 under Emperor Gia Long, covers an area of 520 ha, consists of high and thick stone walls, many massive and magnificent gates, palaces, temples, beautiful gardens, lotus ponds, theatre, and pavilions, and tombs. You will get to learn more about the history and culture of Vietnam as well as the unique architecture of the buildings. Linh Ung pagoda of Son Tra Peninsula is the first stop. There are many great things to do at the largest pagoda in Central Vietnam. Enjoy the sea breeze, amazing panorama view of Da Nang City, statues of Arhats and the statue of Kyan Yin – the tallest Kyan Yin statue in Vietnam when it was completed.

Next, we will stop at My Khe Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Central Vietnam. You will spend 15 minutes there to enjoy the great view, the sea breeze, and take amazing photos.

You will spend your time exploring Han Market which is the largest markets in Danang as well as Central Vietnam. You will see many booths selling different items including clothing and souvenirs, delicious specialty food and dried food.

Day 10 – Da Nang – Nha Trang

At your hotel in Danang, you will enjoy your breakfast and be ready for the flight to Cam Ranh Airport from Danang International Airport.

Arriving at the coastal Nha Trang City, you will visit the the top tourist attractions, visit islands, visit Vinpearl Nha Trang, or enjoy the beach on your own.

Option 1 – Nha Trang City Tour

  • Hong Chong Promontory: The massive natural rocks in different shapes are stacked each other will make you amazed. Especially, Husband Rock is the impressive big one having the traces of the giant hand in a legend, Wife Rock is a little small rock looking like a woman cradling their child. You will listen to one of the most touching and tearful love stories.

Day 11 –  Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City

You will be transferred by car to Cam Ranh Airport after breakfast at your hotel. You will fly to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, then be picked up by a private car.   • Notre Dame Cathedral: Finished in 1880, this is one of the oldest and biggest churches, the finest examples of French Gothic architecture in Vietnam. You will be dropped of at the Golden Dragon Theater where you will watch the unique water puppet show to learn more about Vietnamese art, music, and culture. After the show, you will be transferred to the wharf where the cruise staff will welcome you and serve you a delicious dinner on cruise. You will travel along Saigon River and admire the charming beauty of the city at night.

At 21:30, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Saigon.

Day 13 – Ho Chi Minh City

You will enjoy your breakfast at your hotel.

At 8:00, we will pick you up for Cu Chi Tunnels which is about 70 km from the city center. You will enjoy the 1.5 – 2 hour drive and the beautiful sights on the way. Nice villages, green rice fields and rubber plantations make your trip more interesting. Cu Chi Tunnels is a massive multilayer network of underground tunnels, built by villagers and Vietcong soldiers from 1946 to 1948 to hide themselves and weapons from the enemies. You will explore Ben Dinh site, learn more about the structure, function rooms, try crawling the tunnels and entering some secret entrances, see how traps work. Especially, you can try shooting a real gun at the shooting range.

We will serve you a lunch with specialty dishes of Saigon and drive you back to your hotel. At 14:00, you will say goodbye to your tour guide and driver, then spend your free time in your hotel room, go shopping, or visit your favorite places such as museums, zoo, markets,…

At 17:00 – 18:00, we will pick you up to start the Saigon night food tour on which you will visit some hidden places in other districts of Saigon. The solemn historical Thich Quang Duc Memorial is the first visiting place. After that, we will reach Ho Thi Ky Flower Market and the nearby night food market where you will sample lots of local dishes like locals. You will also be driven to other night food courts in crowded old residential areas.

Day 14 – Ho Chi Minh City Mekong Delta Tour – Ho Chi Minh City

You will stop at fruit gardens and see abundant seasonal fruits. A bicycle ride through nice villages, a sampan ride through small canals, and a tuk tuk ride are amazing and excited. You will also visit a coconut candy shop and a bee farm.

At noon, you will be serve an a delicious meal with specialty dishes of Mekong Delta.

At 17:00, you will arrive at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
