Itinerary of Da Nang and Hoi An Tour from Chan May Port

Upon your arrival at Chan May Port, our driver and tour guides will wait for you at the gate of Chan May Port (Please let us know if you would like to be picked up at the cruise ship (additional cost will be applied). We hop on the private A/C car and drive to Da Nang City.

After about 1 hour and 20 minutes, we arrive at Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula for seeing the 67-meter-tall statue of Lady Buddha and enjoying the fantastic panoramic views, cool climate, and “meeting” the wild monkeys.

Then we drive to Marble Mountains – a cluster of five marble and limestone hills with many wonderful caves, sacred temples, and shrines dedicated to Buddha. Climbing up about 150 stone steps from the foot of Thuy Son – the highest mountain, you will reach the most beautiful observatory spot. It is a big chance to see the fantasy of nature in the limestone mountains named after the five elements of the ancient oriental philosophy: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.

A 200-year-old marble carving village is located at the foot of the mountains. Travelers will be amazed at the exquisite sculptures and the smooth gloss of the marble layer only found in Marble Mountains. Small items such as marble tea sets, Vietnamese girls, bracelets,… are perfect souvenirs.

Next, we head to Hoi An City for exploring the town which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Da Nang to the ancient town. We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An, some flavorful specialty foods will be served to you.
