Itinerary of Hanoi Jeep Tour Full Day

Morning Time

Red River Delta for a countryside trip will provide you a glimpse of the surrounding area, including visits to rural villages, rice paddies, fruit orchards, local markets, valleys, alleys, and country roads. You’ll also get to meet the locals and discover their traditions. We’ll take you on a special trip that will introduce you to sights that most tourists aren’t even aware exist.

The Hanoi Jeep Tour Full Day begins in the center of the city, with views of the magnificent Long Bien Bridge that crosses the Red River. From there, we journey in our Jeep and proceed to view rice fields and a temple that is over a thousand years old in a community that is more than four hundred years old. When you see greenery and pure air in the center of a field while traveling in our Jeep, you will have to stop and learn about the west rice culture.

Continue your trip through the rice terraces to a local market, where you can see the everyday lives of the inhabitants and the magnificent products that they sell. After that, we cruise via cool backroads to a halt where we can tour the historic city of Co Loa, learn about the past as of 257 BC. After a stunning ride through the peaceful countryside and verdant rice paddies, we arrive at a hidden family in the middle of the fields where the owner farms and grows many types of tropical fruits. They will take you to visit their home and see the life, and you may get the chance to sample some traditional rice wine if they make it that day. We speak with the homeowner and gain a deeper understanding of local Vietnamese life and how they operate the farm, as well as the huynh, or custom, and the

Once you’ve had a chance to visit the villages and the tour, our driver will go back to Hanoi by a different route along the red river bank. On the way back, you’ll have time for lunch before heading out to explore the city of Hanoi.

Afternoon Time

Our Jeep driver will take you to a second location where you can view the railway lines. There, you can see how the locals live and work only a few centimeters away in tall, narrow dwellings.

After a brief Jeep ride toward the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, our rider will stop at a location where you can get an overview of the neighborhood, including the president’s residence, the parliament building, and all of the government offices. Our guide will then discuss Hanoi’s history with you at this point.

Now it is time to continue the cycle via the botanical park and ride by little alleys to view the modest residences before arriving at Huu Hiep Lake to witness the B52 Crash site at the lake, a somber reminder of recent history. This US aircraft was shot down during the 1972 bombing strikes on Hanoi.

Our next trip will take us to West Lake, one of Hanoi’s largest lakes, where we can get a glimpse of the city’s stunning homes and breathtaking views as well as some of the wealthy residents who live there.

You will learn about John MC Cain’s life by visiting the memorial honoring him at Truc Bach Lake, which is located close to West Lake and where he was assassinated.
Returning to the jeep, we go to the An Duong market to see where locals go to purchase and sell fresh produce and food for everyday use. As we roam through this enormous, busy location, we take in the colorful atmosphere that is characteristic of Hanoi.

Our next ride takes us along the riverside to the Red River Island where we will visit a hidden gem village. Here, we will also see how the poor live, see how people farm on this island, and have the opportunity to meet and converse with people who live there. Additionally, our guide will take us to a local family where we will show you how they go about their daily lives.

Then, as we drive past a banana field, we notice how lovely and green the vegetable farm is along the route. Finally, we arrive at a Kumquat farm. These little trees are customary Tet presents and decorate every family house, signifying luck, health, riches, fertility, and peace.

After a long day of traveling and sightseeing, it’s time to unwind and sip on some Vietnamese coffee. You may also want to sample Hanoi’s famed Egg Coffee.

After arriving at our final destination, we ride outside the city to the Long Bien Bridge, a magnificent building constructed more than a century ago that connects the Hoan Kiem and Long Bien districts and offers shelter to locals living on the boats below. Motorbikes and bicycles can travel across the bridge, so we set off.
