Detailed Itinerary of Mekong Delta Tour – Khmer Culture in Tra Vinh
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Tra Vinh (L,D)
7:00: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel. It takes around 5 hours to reach Tra Vinh. Upon arrival, you will take a short rest at a homestay and have lunch with the host.
After that, you will get to discover the village by bike, visit Huynh Ky old house, the ancient Buddhism pagoda of the Khmer people where you will get to talk to the monk, and listen to a Scripture to learn about the southern Buddhism. With those activities, you will have a comfortable moment and better understand the life and culture of the people here.
You will return to your homestay in the late afternoon and enjoy local dishes.

Day 2: Tra Vinh – Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)
You will depart early for Can Tho City (1 hour and a half on a coach), you will then take the boat to Cai Rang Floating Market – the cultural features of the locals. You will stop for breakfast at the nearby restaurant and continue to Con Son Community Tourism Village where you will have a chance to be a farmer and experience the local activities such as transplanting rice, caring for the fruit orchard, catching craps… and enjoying the local dishes for lunch.
You will return to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon.
