Itinerary of Sapa Tour 3 Days 2 Nights

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Cat Village (L, D)

At 6:00 AM, we will meet at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (a free pick-up is provided). You will pay an extra fee if you request to be picked up at your hotel outside Hanoi Old Quarter. On the way from Hanoi to Sapa, you will have time to relax, enjoy the beautiful sights, and see local people going out to work.

At 9:30 AM, we will arrive at the first rest stop on the highway to Lao Cai City.

At 11:00 AM, we will arrive at the second rest stop in Lao Cai City.

At 1:00 PM, we will arrive in Sapa Town and you will be surprised with the colorful traditional costumes of ethnic people. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese dishes in Sapa. You will also make check-in procedures, enjoy a welcome drink, and be told about the itinerary briefing. At 2:30 PM, you will trek for about 2.5 km to explore Cat Cat Village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Located near the bottom of a deep valley at Fansipan Peak’s foot, Cat Cat has lots of great things to do: learn more about the local life, a wonderful waterfall, Hydraulic Power Station built by French, gardens, rice fields, houses,…

At 4:30 PM, we will go back to your hotel in Sapa Town and you will have time to take a shower and relax in your comfortable room. Then you will enjoy the dinner peacefully and have a chance to explore the city at night by yourself.

Day 2: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village (B, L, D)

At 7:00 AM, you will eat breakfast at your hotel in Sapa Town, then check out and prepare a small backpack for a new trekking day (your luggage will be kept at the hotel).

At 8:30 AM, we will leave the hotel and start the journey to Lao Chai Village – home to Black Hmong ethnic people. You will trek and see endless rice terraces, the romantic Muong Hoa Stream, and the spectacular Hoang Lien Son Mountain,… for about 4 hours. The trekking distance is about 12 km.

At 12:00 PM, you will have lunch with authentic Vietnamese dishes cooked by a local family. After that, you will go to Ta Van Village where Dzay ethnic people have lived for a long time.

At 2:30 PM, you will check in to a nice homestay which is owned by a friendly and helful family of Dzay people. There will be many things to explore around the homestay and you will spend your time taking a rest in your room. In the late afternoon, you will learn how local people cook for dinner and enjoy the meal with the host in peace. In the evening, you will have leisure time or go to the local bar nearby with amazing music and a chance to make new friends.

Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Ha Noi (B, L)

At 7:00 PM, they will cook some Vietnamese traditional dishes for breakfast and you will enjoy the breakfast before preparing for trekking.

At 8:45, we will trek for 3 km to see more interesting things including rice fields, bamboo forests, Giang Ta Chai village – home of the red Dzao ethnic people. The trekking time is about 3.5 hours.

At 11:00 AM, you will reach the lovely Giang Ta Chai Bridge, then be picked up by our bus and transferred to Sapa Town.

At 1:30 PM, we will arrive at the hotel where you can relax and have shower (if needed).

At 4:00 PM, you will hop on the bus and be transferred to Hanoi. There are 2 rest stops on the way and you will take a rest, buy some food and drinks to fill your stomach and boost your energy.

At 10:00 PM, you will arrive in Hanoi.
