Starlight Bridge in Ho Chi Minh City (Cầu Ánh Sao) is known as one of the most beautiful and romantic bridges in Saigon. Completed in 2010, Starlight Bridge is the first modern pedestrian bridge in Vietnam. Connecting two sides of Thay Tieu Channel, the famous Crescent Lake area and Kenh Dao area in Phu My Hung which is known as the rich or middle-class neighborhoods in Ho Chi Minh City, Starlight Bridge is for residents to go sightseeing, view the beautiful scenery and gather.

Design of Starlight Bridge in Ho Chi Minh City
It was designed by Gao Ge – a Chinese company, designed in detail by Dao Fund Construction Design Consultant Company and built by Sino-Pacific Company. The construction of Starlight Bridge was started in May, 2009, completed and opened for public at the end of 2010.
Starlight Bridge is 170 m long and 8.3 m wide. It is as curved as the crescent moon. Round led lights on the bridge look light stars on the sky so that it is named Starlight. Walking on the bridge, pedestrians feel like walking in the sky with countless bright stars. On two sides of the bridge, there is a modern fountain, illuminated with color-changing lights. The solar power lighting system was used to illuminate the Starlight Bride and the fountain.
At two ends of the bridge, there are two squares, the crescent shape one represents the moon, the other is in a round shape and symbolize for the sun.
