Located about 200 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Thiet City (Binh Thuan Province) is one of the most popular Vietnam’s tourist destinations. Amazing beaches with soft sand and blue waters have attracted a lot of tourists. Below is the list of top beaches in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan.

1. Rang Beach (or Mui Ne Beach)
Local people call this beach Bãi Rạng, “Rạng” refers to dead beach where there are rocks and dead corals. However, a long stretch of yellow sand, clear blue water, and green tall coconut trees make Rang Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in Mui Ne. Nowadays, local villages are replaced by luxury resorts on the beach that stretches about 10 km. However, a fishing village still exists and has become a must-see attraction in the city. They call it Mui Ne fishing village or Rang fishing village. The best time to visit this place is early morning or evening. In the morning, visitors can enjoy the uniquely beautiful sunshine, see fishermen coming back from the sea, boats that are full of fresh seafood, the crowd of sellers and buyers at the village. If you are there in the evening, you will have a chance to enjoy the sunset and the peace as well as tasting some great seafood served by local people while looking over the village. Mui Ne Beach and the fishing village is about 15 km north of the city center. Mui Ne Beach is located near Mui Ne cape and town. Coming to Rang Beach, you can see hundreds of resorts, hotels, guest houses, restaurants, and shops along Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang Streets which are full of tourists. Why not run to this beautiful beach and enjoy your life?
2. Doi Duong Beach
Located near Doi Duong park, right in the center of the city, Doi Duong Beach (or Fern Hill Beach) is public to everyone. The beach was given the name because there was a large area of fern trees planted in order to prevent the wind, the strong sunlight, and the rain. The government built a park that is named Doi Duong park near the beach. The park and the beach have become one of the most popular places where locals and tourists come to walk, relax, eat, swim, and sunbath. Although the area around Doi Duong Beach is not as busy as Rang Beach, it has some great hotels and restaurants and should be considered by you on your trip to Phan Thiet. In my opinion, Doi Duong beach is a great choice for tourists who like something local, not very touristic.
3. Hon Rom Beach
Hon Rom Beach is located at the feet of Hon Rom Mountain in Long Son Commune, Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City. It is about 2 km far from the city center. Blue and quiet waters, less rock, and great mountain make Hon Rom Beach one of the most favorite beaches in Phan Thiet. If you like a busy and crowded beach, you can come to the front Hon Rom Beach. In the opposite, the back Hon Rom Beach is for whom love nice and peaceful places.
4. Thuan Quy Beach
Thuan Quy Beach perhaps is the wildest beach in Phan Thiet. The beach surprises visitor with the wild but lovely nature. It has been said that the wave, white bubbles, green fern trees, and lush orchards make the beach dreamlike and lyrical. The highlights of this beach include groups of rocks in many shapes, especially the masterpiece called “The hand of Buddhist”. The minus of Thuan Quy Beach is that it is located about 30 km far from the city center.
5. Cam Binh Beach
Besides the 3 beaches above, I also would like to recommend Cam Binh Beach in La Gi District-level Town (Binh Thuan Province). Although there are fewer foreign tourists in comparison to the beaches in Phan Thiet City, Cam Binh Beach has become more and more popular thanks to perfect sand, clear water, and very cheap seafood dishes.
