Quang Phu Sand Dunes: From the city center, you will follow Truong Phap Street, the road of Dong Hoi tourism, where many busy hotels and service restaurants are concentrated. Passing Nhat Le Beach takes about 5km to reach Quang Phu Sand Dunes. You will stop to visit it, experience the feeling of getting lost in the desert, play sandboarding, ride an all-terrain vehicle (at your own expense), or walk to admire the dunes, enjoy the fresh air, and take photos.

Luy Thay-Nhat Le Line: a military structure dating back to the Trinh – Nguyen conflict period, a defense line with the largest scale in the feudal dynasty in Vietnam. It also demonstrates the military talent and strategic vision of talented military leader Dao Duy Tu and is also a tangible cultural heritage proving creativity in Vietnam’s military history.

Remains of Tam Toa Church: It was built by the Catholic Church in 1886; it was the most beautiful and unique architectural work in Vietnam at that time. The church is also where the famous poet Han Mac Tu was baptized in 1912 with the saint name François Nguyen Trong Tri. In 1965, the church was destroyed by a bomb, leaving only the bell tower with lots of bomb marks. Now the bell tower of Tam Toa Church is recognized as a historical and cultural relic, evidence of war crimes.

Quang Binh General Museum: It currently displays more than 15,000 pictures and artifacts related to the historical process of the homeland of Quang Binh through the ages, including stone objects, bronze drums, weapons, bronze objects, ceramic statues, etc. Next to each artifact are extremely detailed annotations, making you excited to learn about the history and origins of these ancient objects. You will understand more about the lives of Quang Binh people many years ago.

Dong Hoi Ancient Citadel: It is a military defense structure with a deep moat that has existed for more than 200 years and is important historical evidence of the land of Dong Hoi – Quang Binh. Although much was destroyed during the two wars, Dong Hoi Citadel still retains its essential original elements.

Quang Binh Quan: Being a symbol of Quang Binh province, the project was built according to a unique architectural model, harmoniously combining two elements, both as a solid defensive battle rampart and as a unique artistic architectural work.

Dong Hoi Market: It is the largest market in Quang Binh, where all kinds of goods are sold to serve people’s lives, especially seafood because boats coming to the sea all bring them to this market. You are free to visit and shop.
