Our professional and experienced driver will wait for you outside Phu My Port’s gate with a signboard under your name to meet you and help you hop in the private car. Then, you will be transferred to the center city at the War Remnants Museum where your English-speaking guide will meet you. At War Remnants Museum, you will take a closer look at the Vietnam War (1954- 1975), see plenty of artifacts, old letters, documentaries, weapons, and other valuable related things. It will also tell you stories about brave Vietnamese soldiers who fought against their strong enemies.
After that, we will visit Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office – Saigon’s 2 iconic sights where you will admire the beauty of old French architectural buildings, learn more about history and culture, and have a great chance to take the most beautiful photos and videos in the city. In addition, you will also walk along the lovely, special, and green book street next to the post office.
At lunchtime, you will be taken to a local restaurant and served some Vietnamese dishes.
After lunch, we will head to Ben Thanh Market which is known as the biggest and most beautiful market in Ho Chi Minh city. You will walk around, and feel the vibrant atmosphere shown in selling and buying products by local people. Tons of goods are sold at the market and you will have a great chance to buy many specialty foods, souvenirs, and fashion items.
The next stop will be Cheo Leo cafe – a unique 80-year coffee shop hidden in an alley and offering special “stock” coffee. Sitting around a table, you will take a rest, enjoy the attractive smell of real coffee, sip some Vietnamese coffee (or other drink), and eat Grilled banana with coconut milk – one of the most popular desserts in Saigon. You will experience the coffee culture in Ho Chi Minh City, interact with your local guides and other people at the coffee shop.
If we have enough time, you will visit Saigon China Town, and come to Thien Hau Pagoda where the Chinese Sea Goddess Mazu is worshipped. You will get lost in the bustle and hustle area, admire the beauty of the architecture and listen to mysterious about Mazu and the pagoda.
You will be transferred back to Phu My Port, the drive will take 1.5 – 2 hours to drive from Ho Chi Minh City center to the port.
