Itinerary of Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Cuc Phuong Tour 2 Days 1 Night
Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc in Ninh Binh (L/D)
At 8:00 – 8:20 AM, our professional driver and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will depart for Ninh Binh Province which is about 95 km from the center of Hanoi.
At 9:15 AM, we will stop at a rest stop for relaxing.
At 10:30 AM, we will reach Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. It will be a great chance to learn more about the history, architecture, and culture of the country. In addition, the charmful beauty of Hoa Lu is one of the highlights of this tourist attraction.
At 11:45 AM, you will have a delicious lunch with various Vietnamese dishes at a local restaurant.
At 1:00 – 1:30 PM, you will reach Tam Coc and take a boat trip for sightseeing. The natural beauty of this place will make you surprising, you will see paddy fields, gardens, mountains, small houses while cruising on the river. Especially, we will sail through three famous caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba) in Tam Coc, see many stalactites and stalactites. After finishing the boat trip, you will ride a bicycle around lovely and green villages where local people live.
At 3:00 PM, hopping off the boat, you will cycle around the peaceful and quiet village to enjoy the fresh air and learn more about the real local life.
At 3:30 PM, you will get on the bus and head to Tam Coc.
At 4:00 PM, you will check in to your hotel and spend your time taking shower, relaxing, and exploring Tam Coc at night (at your own expense).
Day 2: Tam Coc – Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L)
At 7:30 – 8:00 AM, a delicious breakfast will be served by the nice staff of the hotel.
At 8:30 AM, you will check out the hotel and your luggage will be kept at the hotel.
At 9:30 AM, you will be transferred to Cuc Phuong National Park which covers an area of 22.200 hectares and recognized as the largest wildlife protection area in Southeast Asia. The Endangered Primates Rescued Centre will be the first stop, you will see Vietnam’s rare primates which are reared and rescued. After that, you will start the trekking trip through the dense and green jungle valleys. A picnic lunch will be served by our staff at the giant ancient tree with its 1.5 meter diameter and 45-metre height. After filling your stomach and boosting your energy, you will continue the journey at the park, explore interesting areas, admire the beauty of the forest, learn more about fauna and wildlife, enjoy the fresh air.
At 3:30 PM, you will get on the bus to be transferred back to Tam Coc, stop at the hotel to get back your luggage. You will have free time to relax.
At 4:00 – 4:30 PM, we will start the journey from Tam Coc to Hanoi.
At 6:30 – 7:00 PM, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
