Shooting range (Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc)

Liberation Area (Ben Duoc)

Liberation Area was built with the idea of reviving the life of local people and soldiers in the zone where it was peaceful and under the control of Vietcong. There are 3 zones: zone 1961 – 1964, zone 1965 – 1968, zone 1969 – 1972. The entrance fee to Liberation Area is 65,000 VND/person.

Transportation

  • Public bus: Passengers must take from 2 buses to reach Cu Chi Tunnels sites (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc) from the city center. The bus fare is from 6,000 VND to 20,000 VND. I do not recommend you to get to Cu Chi Tunnels by bus because of uneven quality, waste of time, and unsafety.
  • Motorbike: If you are a pillion passenger, it will be great. An experienced tour guide and rider will help you to enjoy the ride to Cu Chi Tunnels to the fullest. You should drive a motorbike alone if you are a motorbike expert, have an international motorbike license, and familiar with driving on the streets in Vietnam. It is a little adventurous to drive from the center of Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels. In case you already have a motorbike, you will pay less than 100,000 VND for petrol. A motorbike tour to Cu Chi (including vehicle, petrol, driver, ticket) costs about $70 USD/person.
  • Car: The price of private 2-way transfer from District 1 to Cu Chi Tunnels by 4-seater car is about $70 USD.
  • Speedboat: A Cu Chi Tunnels tour by speedboat (including vehicle, petrol, driver, ticket) costs about $90 USD/person. Speedboat is the fastest way to reach Cu Chi Tunnels from the city center.
