Cai Be town in Mekong Delta region is about 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City center. It offers many exciting activities, tourist attractions, hidden gems and amazing excursions. Travelers who love nature will enjoy the lush natural landscape and the picturesque scenery. In addition, this is a great place to learn about the local culture and make friends with very hospitable local people, discover how they earn their livings in this region.
At 7:30AM, our guide wellcome you at our office or your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. We depart for Cai Be, pass through the beautiful rice fields, enjoy the peaceful scenery during 2-hour car ride.
Upon the arrival in Cai Be, we hop on a boat, cruise along the mighty Mekong river and see lots of strange things including water animals, people on their rowing and motorized boat. We disembark to troll into the craft village where you can learn how local people produce handicrafts and foods.
Continue cruising on the boat, stop at lush fruit orchards, see trees with , durian fruits, jack fruits, guavas, rambutans, longan,… drink hot tea. It’s a huge chance to plug and enjoy fresh fruits. You also learn more about Vietnamese culture by listening to traditional music originated in Mekong Delta.
Stop at a local restaurant by boat, attend a cooking class hosted by a local chef, cook some Vietnamese dishes, then enjoy your lunch happilly. Take a rest and take some nice photos.
Aftewards, go kayaking. If you are a first-time paddler, we will help you so that you can experince one of the most interesting activities in the Mekong Delta. Next, bike along the countryside road, enjoy the fresh air and peaceful landscape.
