Detailed Itinerary of Mekong Delta Tours 3 days 2 nights
Day 1: HCM – Cai Be – Tan Phong Island (L, D)
Departing from Ho Chi Minh City at around 7:30, our tour begins with a short drive towards the south, leaving Ho Chi Minh City behind and entering the rural landscapes of the Mekong Delta. You will reach Cai Be Town first as heading deeper into the Mekong Dela.
Upon arrival at the Cai Be boat wharf, you’ll be transferred to a sampan to start a trip through many branches of the Mekong Delta. Our first stop is the colorful Cai Be floating market, followed by a visit to a Coconut Farm, and then listen to the “Tai Tu Music”. Finally, you will visit Tan Phong Island by boat before checking in for a Home-stay at Tan Phong Island.

You will enjoy the fresh fruits of the Delta then you will visit rice paper and local pop rice workshops, bonsai gardens, and fishing villages.
After that, you will back to Tan Phong Island for checking out the homestay then embark on a sampan to reach the Mekong Boat for cruising to Can Tho. You will enjoy your lunch with local dishes on the boat while floating on the river and watch the immense scenery as well as the daily life of this area.
In the afternoon, you will get to join on-land activities such as walking around local villages, visiting fruit orchards or rice fields, meeting friendly locals, and tasting the local produce and fruits.
