Detailed Itinerary of Two Day Mekong Delta Tour
Day 1: HCM – Cai Be Floating Market – Tan Phong Island (-/L/D)
Departing from Ho Chi Minh City at about 7:30, our Vietnam tour will start with a short drive towards the south, leaving the city behind and going to the rural landscapes of the Mekong Delta region. After heading deeper into the Mekong Delta, you will reach Cai Be Town first.
Upon arrival at Cai Be wharf, you’ll be transferred to a sampan to begin a trip through many branches of the Mekong Delta. Our first stop will be the colorful Cai Be floating market, next will be a visit to a Coconut Farm and then listening to the “Tai Tu Music”.
Finally, you will visit Tan Phong Island by boat before checking in for a Home-stay at Tan Phong Island.
Lunch will be served in a local ancient house of the small village on Tan Phong Island with many delicious specialties and fresh fruits.
Then you will spend a short time relaxing or walking around the surroundings.
After lunch, you will bike around Tan Phong Island (Tien Giang Province) for discovering the rural life of the local people. Attending the cooking class in the late afternoon will offer you an interesting experience of cooking traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Day 2:
Tan Phong Island – An Binh Island – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
Welcoming early morning in the rural area will be an amazing experience for you. After breakfast, you will take a rowing sampan through An Binh Island to the house of Mr. Cai Cuong, a former landlord to witness the life of a typical rich family in the past. Then you will enjoy the fresh fruits of the Delta before visiting local pop rice, rice paper workshops, bonsai garden, and fishing village.
After that, you will be back to Tan Phong Island to check out the homestay.
After lunch, the sampan will take you to Cai Be wharf for driving back to Ho Chi Minh City.
