Detailed Itinerary of Three-day Mekong Delta Tour on Two-wheels
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Rustic Lodge in Cai Be (L/D)
You will be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City by my tour guide at 09:00. You will then transfer to Binh Phu Intersection (Cai Lay District, Tien Giang Province).
You will arrive in Binh Phu after a two-hour drive at about 11:00. You will continue the tour by cycling for 10km and then take a river ferry to reach Tan Phong Island Resort where you will check into your room and enjoy lunch made with fresh local ingredients.
After lunch and a short rest, you will join the cycling tour to discover Tan Phong Island at about 14:30. You will also drop in at a local’s house to visit their vegetable and fruit gardens. Afterward, you will definitely enjoy your time catching fish with your hands in the small canals. The lucky tourists who succeed in catching fish will then be offered the freshly grilled fish!
When the sun sets, you will return to the Mekong Rustic Lodge at about 18:00. Dinner will be served after you participate in a cooking course where you will learn to make some local foods with fresh ingredients.

Day 2: Cai Be Floating Market – Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre
You should wake up in the morning to enjoy the fresh air of the resort and have breakfast at 07:30. We will then get on the boat to the Cai Be Floating Market to experience the river life of the Mekong people at 08:00. Traveling along the Mekong River, you can observe the daily activities of people living on the riverbanks.
Afterward, you will transfer to rowing boats to visit the Mekong canals and then return to the boat to come back to Tan Phong Island for checkout.
The 2nd day of your trip in the Mekong will continue with a 40-km bicycle ride passing through lush orchards. You will take a rest at Vuon Dua Restaurant before you cycle to Ben Tre Province, where you will visit the Mekong Rustic Lodge. Lunch will be served to you with local cuisine.
In the afternoon, you will get to cycle to the local market, learn how to cook some local food with coconut and try fishing activities.
You will stay overnight at Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre.

Day 3: Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre – Bo Chi Minh City (B/L)
You will enjoy some free time in Mekong Rustic Lodge relaxing or cycling around your lodge and discovering more about the local people’s lives. Also, you will take some time to enjoy the fresh air or buy a souvenir.
You will have a lunch of local food, checkout and then head back to Ho Chi Minh City by bus.
You will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City around 18:30.
