Many cineplexes are located in shopping centers. Most shopping centers in Ho Chi Minh City have cineplexes.
Prices offered by different brands are not so different. So that I would like to recommend to watch movies near your place or at shopping centers where you go shopping or have your meals.
Prices of movie tickets at a cineplex depend on ages (adult, children, senior), student (or pupils), times (before or after 17:00), days of week (Monday – Friday, Saturday – Sunday), holidays, festivals, Valentine’s Day, International (or Vietnamese) Women’s Day, promotions (Tuesday/Thursday), members, etc.
Sweetboxes or VIP seats for couples are worth trying although prices are a little higher.
If you can not understand Vietnamese, you can choose English versions or Vietnamese versions with English subtitles.
It is better to buy tickets before going to the cinemas to make sure the tickets are not sold out.
