2 Days Cat Tien National Park Trekking Tour: Located in South Vietnam, Cat Tien is an important national park in the region as well as the country. Since 1978, it has been protected as two sectors which are called Nam Cat Tien and Tay Cat Tien. Cat Loc sector was gazetted as a Rhinoceros Reserve in 1992 thanks to the discovery of a population of the Vietnamese Javan Rhinoceros. This occasion brought the park into the world’s eye. In 1998, three areas were combined to form Cat Tien National Park. Itinerary of 2 Days Cat Tien National Park Trekking Tour
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park (lunch & dinner)

At 08.00 AM, our guide and driver will be at the hotel for picking you up. We will hop on the private car with A/C and leave Ho Chi Minh City for Nam Cat Tien. Plantations of rubber and green coffee, the pleasant Dong Nai River, nice villages, and the local life will open your mind. We will reach Lava tubes – a former volcanic crater, then Cat Tien National Park. It takes 3 – 4 hours to drive from Saigon to the park (the distance between them is 150 km).
A delicious lunch will be served upon your arrival at a nice local restaurant. You and your guide will trek through the Reserved Core Area for 3 hours. On the journey, you will see many kinds of hundreds of years old trees. We will go back to the center for dinner. You will relax in your room at a hotel in the forest.
Before going to bed, we will enjoy a two-hour night cruise into the green jungle. The open jeep allows visitors to watch wild animals walking, running, drinking, and also hear the calls of rhinoceros.
Our guide will say goodbye to you and wish you a nice sleep.
Day 2: Cat Tien National park – Ho Chi Minh City (breakfast & lunch)
You will wake up in the early morning and enjoy the lovely songs of native birds. Breakfast will be prepared and you will have enough energy for a four-hour trek. You will see crocodiles in the swamps, birds, and green old trees. Before being transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City, you will be served a delicious lunch with local dishes.
The tour ends at your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City at around 16:00.
