Itinerary of 3 Days 2 Nights Cat Tien National Park Tour
Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park – Dinner
It takes about 4 hours (150km) to reach Can Tien National Park from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
Covering an area of 720 km2, Cat Tien National Park protects one of the largest areas of lowland tropical rainforests left in the country.
Upon your arrival, we take an exciting light afternoon trek through the green forest. In the late afternoon, we return to the eco-lodge/hotel.
After a delicious dinner with local dishes, you take a night drive (with your guide and an experienced driver) into the national park. On the journey, we use a spotlight to view nocturnal wildlife.
Stay overnight at the eco-lodge/hotel.
Day 2 – Cat Tien National Park – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
In the early morning, we depart for a trek to Crocodile Lake where you have many opportunities to see different varieties of birds. If we are lucky enough, we can see Siamese crocodiles. These kinds of crocodiles are critically endangered and Cat Tien is one of the last places where they can be found in the wild in the world. A packed lunch is provided by our staff.

Day 3 – Cat Tien National Park – Ho Chi Minh City – Breakfast, Lunch
After a delightful breakfast, we visit the Bear Rehabilitation Centre or the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre. Endangered bears/primates are rescued and rehabilitated at these centres. The endemic bears or primates can be released back into the forest after a time in the holding enclose.
You are transferred back to the lodge after the visit to the rescue centre.
The driver pick you up at the lodge/hotel and head to Ho Chi Minh City.
