4 Days Phnom Penh Saigon on Aqua Mekong Cruise: Say “Good Morning, Vietnam” as we cross the border and sail into Tan Chau, a bustling border town where we may take a xe loi for a tour of the city or cycle 18 kilometers on the tranquil island of Long Khanh. Day 1: Phnom Penh

Activities: Cruise to the Vinh Xuong border and Chau Doc hamlet, explore the tranquil island of Long Khanh, and sample the local produce.

Say “Good Morning, Vietnam” as we cross the border and sail into Tan Chau, a bustling border town where we may take a xe loi for a tour of the city or cycle 18 kilometers on the tranquil island of Long Khanh.

In the afternoon, we will visit MyAn Hung, a typical Mekong town where we will stroll amid green plantations. We will be welcomed to a resident’s house to sample local fruits while listening to traditional folk music sung by locals, followed by a one-of-a-kind Unicorn dance. Those who desire to explore on wheels may also choose to go by bicycle.

Day 3: Sa Dec – Cai Be

Activities:

Visit the renowned home of the legendary lover of Marguerite Duras, Mr. Huynh Thuy Le.

Begin the day to the Binh Thanh mat weaving hamlet or elect to visit Sa Dec, where we will shop the bustling market and see the renowned lover of Marguerite Duras, Mr. Huynh Thuy Le’s residence.

We proceed downriver towards Cai Be, zigzagging in our sampan past solitary fisherman in long-tail boats.

Later, our skiffs anchor at a wooden pier. In Cai Be, stroll or ride a bicycle amid the high-roofed open courtyard buildings, some of which date back more than a century and are presently occupied by kind people who will ask us to see their property.

Day 4: My Tho – Saigon

Activities: Journey through Cai Be floating market and investigate everyday life, sail to My Tho, then go to Saigon.

Disembarkation. We stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the region’s major Mahayana Buddhist temples, in way to Saigon. You will see a variety of building styles, three enormous Buddha statues, and an astonishing assortment of bonsai plants.
