Day 2: Tonle Sap River – Koh Chen – Kampong Chnang
Activities: Stop at Koh Chen and pagoda, discover and learn more about Knmer riverside life in Kampong Chhnang
In this morning, we visit the Koh Chen silversmith village which is famous for its fine craftsmanship. See with your own eyes their famous silver bowls, regularly chosen by kings and the government of Cambodia as gifts for visiting dignitaries.
In the afternoon, we continue learning about local Khmer riverside life in Kampong Chhnang, which is also called ‘Port of Pottery’ because of the archaeological findings dating to the 6th century. If you love to ride a bicycle around the region, a bike is available for you.

Day 3: Chnok Tru
Activities: Learn more about the remote communities around Tonle Sap River – a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, stop to visit Chnok Tru village. Cruise to Moat Klavillage, visit Moat Kla’s Buddhist temple where you attend the blessing ceremony.
The Tonle Sap Lake, designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1997 is one of the highlights of the day. In Chhnok Tru, we troll into an ice factory and learn from workers how to make ice in the region. Witness how locals live in a town where churches, pagodas, schools, and even police station and karaoke bar all float.
After lunch, we continue the journey and stop at the floating village of Moat Khla, accessible only by water. It is interesting enough to attend a Buddhist blessing ceremony conducted by monks and locals in this isolated community.

Day 4: Tonle Sap Lake – Siem Reap – Cambodia
Activities: Take skiff into Prek Toal Core Bird Reserve on Tonle Sap Lake, return to the Aqua Mekong to disembark
Troll into the 22,000-hectare Prek Toal Core Bird Reserve, one of the largest freshwaterbodies in Asia. Enjoy the fresh air and relax so well in nature. For your information, this is known as the last refuge in Southeast Asia for large waterbirds such as the elusive masked finfoot, black-headed ibis, and spot-billed pelicanmilky stork.
