Itinerary of Phu My Port – Cu Chi Tunnels Shore Excursion

Upon your arrival at Phu My Port, you will be picked up by our professional tour guide and experienced driver at Phu My port (outside the gate). Hopping on the car, we head to Cu Chi District, arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels site. Because the distance between Cu Chi tunnels and Phu My Port is 140 km. The complex Cu Chi Tunnel system was digged by villagers and local guerillas from 1948 to assist communist soldiers in the combat with French and was used to fight against the U.S. forces in the Vietnam War later. The 250 km underground tunnels consist of meeting rooms, kitchens, storages, weapon factories, head-quarter office, cinemas, and clinics. This place was able to house up to 10,000 people, a large number of villagers and Vietcong lived underground for years to hide from the enemies.
