Our driver and tour guide will wait for you at Phu My port gate (outside), they will hang a welcome board with your name. Please note that Phu My port gate is 7 – 10 minutes walking from the cruise ship. After introducing each other and a conversation about tour program, we head to Vung Tau City. It is time for you to relax in an A/C car and enjoy the beautiful landscape on the way.
Upon your arrival in the center of Vung Tau City, we visit top iconic architectural landmarks and sacred places:
- White Palace – a splendid colonial house from the 19th century for the best panoramic view of the sea and the whole city, and collections of antiques.
- Whale Temple – a colourful affair, dating to 1832 for learning more about the unique culture and listening to mysterious stories about whales.
Climb up over 800 steps to reach the giant Christ the King statue on the top of Small Mountain (Nui Nho). You can also go up stairs inside the statue and see the nice view from the arm of the statue.
It is time for lunch at a local restaurant, you will be served Vung Tau specialty food and Vietnamese authentic dishes.
Next, we visit the Buddha of the Sea Pagoda. In the remaining time, you are welcome to enjoy at one of the most beautiful beaches in Vung Tau.
