Sliced pork or pork on a stick is grilled on charcoal until it’s tender, yellow-brown and smelling. There may be fried spring rolls to make the dish more delicious. What you should buy from the supermarket? Dried rice noodle, pork belly, vegetables (salad, Vietnamese herbs, bean sprouts…), peanuts, fish sauce, chili…

What we should do?

1/ Boil dried rice noodle in about 4-5 minutes until it’s tender and tough enough. Put it into a colander and soak them in cold water as fast as possible and keep the noodle dry until it’s served. It’s similar to boiling spaghetti.

2/ Ground pork belly, marinate and grill it.

3/ Wash vegetables.

4/ Make fish sauce dip with fish sauce, sugar, chili and lemon.

How is Bun Thit Nuong served?

1/ Put boiled dried rice noodles into a big bowl.

2/ Then grilled pork, vegetables.

3/ Serve the bowl with a small bowl of dipping fish sauce and chopsticks.
