Xyris indica is commonly named Yelloweyed grass in English and Hoàng đầu ấn in Vietnamese. Its stalk is 10-20 cm long. The flowering plant blossom tiny yellow flowers that look like small seals. In Tram Chim National Park, yelloweyed grasses are abundant in A4 Zone and a part of A5 Zone.
