What is the best time to do Ho Chi Minh Waterbus trip?

On weekends, the waterbus is more crowded with locals and visitors who would like to experience the first waterbus in Ho Chi Minh. The tickets of bus may run out soon and you have to buy the ticket and wait for the next bus. I would like to recommend to do the river trip on weekends.

Saigon has 2 seasons: the dry season (from December to April) and wet season (from May to November). It is better to enjoy the river bus trip in the dry season when it does not rain. During months of the wet season, you can not enjoy the nice view of the city from the river bus.

Morning, late afternoon, and evening are great times to do the river bus trip in Saigon. In the morning, you can enjoy your trip when the sun has not been strong yet and it is not too hot. It is a huge change for taking dozens of fabulous photos. In the evening, you may have a chance to admire the beauty of the sunset in the city as well as Saigon after dark.
