Itinerary of Luxury Mekong Delta 1 Day Tour
At 7.45 AM, our experienced tour guide welcomes you at our office or at the lobby of your hotel in District 1. Then, we head to My Tho city in Tien Giang province by van.
It’s time to enjoy the fantastic scenery and green or yellow rice paddies during the safe one-and-a-half-hour drive. Along the way, you will visit Vinh Trang pagoda which is considered the biggest pagoda and one of the oldest sacred sites in the Mekong Delta.
Continue the tour and head to My Tho where you enjoy a small boat trip along the peaceful Mekong River. You have a chance to see floating houses and fish cages on the rivers.
Escaping the hustle and bustle of city, we arrive at a small canal. The next stop is a coconut island in Ben Tre city. You start an amazing journey, enjoy a walk around the quiet and green village. We visit a local family home to sample fresh tropical fruits, taste some homemade honey tea and honey wine while listening to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the locals. Go to a coconut candy shop, learn how people earn their livings by producing coconut candies, and coconut handicrafts.
Take your time taking some photos and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery before heading to the local restaurant. Lunch is served with must-eat special Vietnamese foods. Enjoy your lunch outside under the shade of the lush green trees. After lunch, you have time to take a rest, walk around the village, take a short bike ride.
Return back to Ho Chi Minh City, arrive at your hotel at around 5.00 pm, tour ends with lots of smiles.
