Itinerary of Luxury Mekong Delta 3 Days 2 Nights Tour
Day 1: HCMC – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Meal: L)
On the first day, start your trip at 8:00 AM, be picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Then drive to the city of My Tho by bus/car/van. During the 1.5-hour bus drive to My Tho City in Mekong Delta, learn about the diversed cultures of the local people and enjoy the beautiful scenery of lush orchards, coconut gardens, green/yellow rice fields.
Stop at Vinh Trang pagoda which is known as the biggest and oldest pagoda in Mekong Delta. Continue your trip in My Tho and hop on a boat to cruise along Mekong River. Fish cages, floating houses, local people on their motor boats and rowing boats on the rivers will open your mind. The boat will take you to a small canal where you feel like locals, escape the noisy and modern town.
Vinh Trang pagoda – Luxury Mekong Delta 3 Days 2 Nights Tour
Go under the shade of the coconut trees lined canals, arrive at a coconut island in Ben Tre. Disembark, take a small walk around the peaceful village before visiting a friendly and generous local family and be served tropical fruits, honey tea, honey wine. Vietnamese traditional music will be performed by the talented villagers.
Continue walking on the village’s dirt road, head to a coconut candy shop where to learn the process of making coconut candies. See some handicrafts made from coconut trees by the hard-working villagers.
Take a walk through the village, explore gardens where there are many kinds of tropical trees, fruits, flowers, and local houses made from natural materials. Take a rest, enjoy the fresh air, and take nice photos, forget all of the hard things in your life.
Afterwards, reach a local restaurant, have lunch with many tasty Vietnamese dishes under the tree shade like Mekong Delta people. After lunch, bike or walk peacefully around the village before travelling by ferry and bus/car/van to Can Tho Province.

Day 2: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CHAU DOC (Meal: B, L)
Wake up and enjoy a very fresh morning, have your breakfast, and start the journey. Take a leisurely boat trip to see the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river. Upon your arrival at Cai Rang floating market – the liveliest and crowdest floating market in the whole region, you immerse yourself into the local life by seeing products sold on wooden boats. The sell everything from fruits to cooking ingredients. What is more interesting than sampling some tropical fruits, haggling and buy something, or order a bowl of rice noodle soup at the market.
Afterwards, roam through the village, explore fruit orchards and a rice noodle factory. Take the boat trip to a local restaurant for lunch before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City.
After a delicious lunch, head to Chau Doc and continue the multiday trip by visiting Tra Su cajuput forest, learn more about wild birds sanctuary, smoothly cruise with small boats to discover the network of splendid canals deep into the green and lush forest, watch storks, cranes and lots of other tropical birds.
Arrive in Chau Doc Province, check in hotel, and overnight in Chau Doc.
Cai Rang floating market – Luxury Mekong Delta 3 Days 2 Nights Tour
Day 3: CHAU DOC – HO CHI MINH CITY OR CHAU DOC – PHNOMPENH BY SPEED BOAT (Meal: B)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel, take the nice motorized boat trip through the famous floating village where to visit a fish farm and learn how Chau Doc people raise fishes on their floating houses to earn their livings. After that, visit the village of Champa minorities, learn about the traditional towel weaving trade and Muslim religion.
Our bus/van/car will take you to Ho Chi Minh City from Chau Doc. On the way back, we stop for lunch paid by yourself. Return to your hotel at 5.00pm – 6.00pm. Tour ends but memory lasts forever.
Option combine speed boat to Phnompenh in Cambodia. You pay an extra fee of $35 USD for ticket. After breakfast at your hotel in Chau Doc, be transfered to a speed boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh. Arrive at Sisowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh at approximately 2pm.
