The program will begin with a visit to Vinh Long Market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take photos of shrimps, fish, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables…
Mekong tourist boat will carry you downstream on the Mekong River seeing many floating cages for farming fish. Then, the first stop is to visit the local workshop to see how to make coconut candy, rice paper pop-rice… enjoying some sweets with a cup of hot tea.
The hand rowing boat will transport you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy a peaceful time. Next, we will walk to visit the orchard & traditional house of Ut Trinh family. Here, we will enjoy some kinds of fruit and tea. The optional lunch will be able to be served at this local house.
Biking will be able to be made for leisure! It will be so interesting to do cycling on village paths to see the daily life of the rural people: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses… On the way back to VinhLong city, we will be able to make one more stop to visit the brick kilns where you will see how the local people make beautiful potteries from clay.
