Itinerary of Mekong River Cruise Saigon Phu Quoc 2 days 1 night

Day 1: Panorama Cruise

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (district 1 and parts of district 3) in Saigon and take you to Cai Be (about two hours drive). You board the wooden tourist boat around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink, we show you our on-board facilities and your cozy cabin. As lunch is served, the tour boat will start cruising. You will get to watch the wonderful scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.

In the afternoon, you can disembark for a guided leisurely walk through the village and the surrounding orchards or rice paddies. You will get to meet the friendly locals and eat the local produce and fruits.

You will then get back on board for fantastic picture opportunities along the river. You will enjoy a drink at the coffee bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water river. The boat will anchor for the night. The day will finish with a delicious onboard dinner.

Day 2: Floating market and travel to Phu Quoc

After a good night with fresh air and the sound of the river, you will get up early and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing. At 6.30h the tourist boat sets off for a sunrise cruise.

After breakfast, we will board a sampan to Cai Rang Floating Market, the busiest and most lively one of three ones in the Mekong Delta. You will surprise due to the abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables, and skilfully handcrafted regional products. you will pull up to the selling boats for talking and bargaining with the traders.

After visiting the floating market our shuttle will take you to the waterfront city of Rach Gia and to the pier for the ferry to the holiday paradise of Phu Quoc (lunch box on the way).

The tour will finish here. We will help you book a resort on the island and organize your trip back to Saigon.
