Cai Lan International Container Terminal (CICT) has a 13-meter draft at the berth, a 10-meter access channel draft at low tide, an 18.1-hectare container yard, a total quay length of 594 meters. The annual container handling capacity of the terminal is 520,000 TEU in 2012 and increased to a capacity of 1.2 million TEU at its full capacity.
